Dr. Eva King is a Council-certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC). She is the Principal Scientist and Founder of AURA EnviroScience.

Dr. King received her Masters degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bielefeld, Germany, and her Doctorate in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from the University of Oxford, UK.

She has been involved in investigations and research into indoor environments and health, allergens, asthma and immunology for over 15 years. She has developed a wide range of new methods for exposure assessment, and has assisted clients in different industry sectors, accelerating development and validation of products and procedures. She continues to contribute her scientific expertise to commercial, governmental and residential clients, as well as in support of litigation related to exposures and sensitization. Her work has been published in many peer-reviewed scientific publications, and she regularly presents at conferences and workshops. Dr. King is an active member of the indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, and allergy research communities.

For the past 15+ years, Dr. King has been a frequent presenter at conferences and workshops of scientific and industry-specific organizations including the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), ASHRAE and other associations.

Dr. King is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), Amercian Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ), and ASHRAE. Between 2013 and 2017, Dr. King served on the Board of Directors of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), and was responsible for the technical program of four IAQA Annual Meetings. The IAQA Annual Meeting provides training and networking opportunities to consultants, contractors and laboratories in the indoor air quality industry. Most recently, she served on the International Society for Indoor Air Quality’s (ISIAQ) Organizing Committee for the Healthy Buildings America 2021 conference.
